Industrial Mastery Pathway
Noise Advanced: Offshore Oil & Gas (UK)
Operational Overview
Gas turbines, compressors, generators and hand tools all combine to make noise a constant presence on a platform. Offshore working conditions, rotational tours and shared accommodation change how that risk needs to be managed compared with a typical onshore site.
This course extends your Noise Advanced training into the offshore environment. You'll work through the same Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 duties that apply onshore, now applied to UK Continental Shelf operations, alongside the practical realities of managing exposure and hearing health surveillance on an installation.
