HAVS Advanced: Offshore Oil & Gas (UK)

Tier 2

Operational Overview

Hand-held tools are part of daily life on a platform, from impact wrenches on flanged joints to grinders and needle guns during maintenance campaigns. Offshore working conditions, rotational tours and confined spaces change how that vibration risk builds up and how it needs to be managed.

This course extends your HAVS Advanced training into the offshore environment. You'll work through the same Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 duties that apply onshore, now applied to UK Continental Shelf operations, alongside the practical realities of managing exposure and health surveillance on an installation.
