Dust & Fumes Advanced: Offshore Oil & Gas (Canada)

Welding fume from fabrication work, diesel exhaust from generators and machinery, drilling additives and cement dust: an offshore facility produces its own particular mix of airborne hazards, on top of everything you've already covered onshore.

This course builds on your foundation dust and fumes training and applies it specifically to Canada's Atlantic offshore areas, where a distinct regulatory regime applies rather than the general federal framework.

You'll leave with a practical understanding of where these hazards come from, how exposure is assessed against recognised limits, and how to protect yourself properly while working with the rest of your kit.
