Working offshore means living alongside noise around the clock, not just during a shift. Drill floors, generator rooms, mud pumps and helidecks all add to a noise profile that's different from any onshore site.

This course builds on your foundation noise training and applies it specifically to Commonwealth waters offshore facilities, where NOPSEMA regulates under a safety case regime rather than state WHS law.

You'll leave with a practical understanding of how noise is measured, controlled and managed on a platform, including in places you might not expect, like your own cabin.
