Australian offshore petroleum operations don't run on a simple list of numeric exposure limits. NOPSEMA regulates under a general duty and Safety Case model, closer in shape to the UK's own regime than to a flat prescriptive standard.
That doesn't mean airborne contaminant exposure is loosely managed. Operators carry a specific, named duty to monitor workforce health and keep records, with hazardous substance exposure explicitly called out as something to assess. This course covers the real sources, welding fume, diesel particulate matter, corrosion-control coatings, and abrasive blasting, and how to build a genuinely defensible programme around them.
One thing worth knowing from the start: a new national exposure standard for diesel particulate matter has already been confirmed and is scheduled to take effect. This course flags it honestly rather than pretending the ground isn't already shifting.
