Dust & Fumes Advanced: Nuclear (US)

Working at a nuclear facility means managing dust and fume hazards you'd recognise from any industrial setting, welding fume, cutting and grinding dust, solvent vapours, alongside a genuine legacy of asbestos in older facilities.

This course builds on your foundation dust and fumes training and applies it specifically to nuclear facilities, where OSHA enforces the same 29 CFR 1910 standards used across other US industries, while the NRC handles radiological hazards separately.

You'll leave knowing exactly how these conventional hazards are controlled and monitored, and how they're genuinely different from the radiological hazards covered under NRC's own regulations.
