Dust & Fumes Advanced: Mining (Australia)

Mining has some of the most serious dust and fume hazards of any industry, silicosis, coal workers' pneumoconiosis and diesel particulate exposure among them, and Australia's mining regulators take these hazards seriously.

This course builds on your foundation dust and fumes training and applies it specifically to mining operations, where state-based mining safety legislation adds requirements on top of the general work health and safety framework.

You'll leave with a practical understanding of where these hazards come from, the exposure standards that apply, and how to protect yourself and recognise early warning signs.
