Operational Overview
This annex supplements your Noise Advanced training with a distinct rule set that applies if you work under federal jurisdiction in Canada.
Federally regulated industries, including rail, marine, aviation, interprovincial trucking, telecommunications and banking, follow the Canada Labour Code Part II rather than provincial occupational health and safety law. Noise exposure limits and hearing conservation duties under this system are genuinely different from the provincial rules covered in your core course, not a restatement of them.
