Dust & Fumes Advanced: British Columbia Annex

Tier 2

Operational Overview

The foundation course taught you the framework. The hierarchy of controls, the hazard ratio calculation, the respirator classes. What it deliberately did not give you was one specific number, because that number depends on where you work.

You work in British Columbia. This annex gives you that number, the exact regulation section that governs it, and what actually triggers a legal exposure control plan requirement on your site.

This annex assumes you have already completed the foundation course. It builds directly on the hazard ratio method and respirator classes covered there.
