Specialist Height Management

Tier 2

Operational Overview

Working Safely at Height (WAH006) gave you the fundamentals: recognising when work at height applies and why avoiding it comes first. This course goes further, into the technical decisions specialist height work actually demands.

You'll cover advanced fall arrest systems, anchor point selection, the real difference between restraint and arrest, planning a rescue before work begins, suspension trauma, formal equipment inspection under LOLER, and managing complex access involving multiple systems at once.

This is the level of detail a rescue plan, an inspection record, or an anchor point decision actually needs to hold up.
