Industrial Mastery Pathway
Noise Advanced: Construction (CA)
Tier 2
Operational Overview
You have already completed the Canada generic Noise Advanced foundation. This course builds directly on that foundation, applying what you already know to the specific tools, tasks and working environments found on Canadian construction sites.
Construction sites bring a genuinely different noise exposure pattern from other industries: a wide mix of loud equipment, frequent task switching, and real variation between open-air and enclosed working conditions.

Instructional Objectives
- Identify the construction tools and tasks that most commonly drive noise exposure on Canadian sites.
- Apply the combined noise exposure calculation to a realistic multi-task construction shift.
- Recognise how confined and enclosed spaces genuinely change real noise risk on site.
- Apply the control hierarchy to construction-specific procurement, hearing protection selection and site management decisions.
