Industrial Mastery Pathway
HAVS Advanced: Construction (CA)
Tier 2
Operational Overview
You have already completed the Canada generic HAVS Advanced foundation. This course builds directly on that foundation, applying what you already know to the specific tools, tasks and seasonal conditions found on Canadian construction sites.
Construction sites bring a genuinely different exposure pattern from other industries: a wide mix of tools, frequent task switching, and real seasonal variation that changes both exposure and the practicality of certain controls.

Instructional Objectives
- Identify the construction tools and tasks that most commonly drive vibration exposure on Canadian sites.
- Apply the combined exposure calculation to a realistic multi-task construction shift.
- Recognise how seasonal and environmental conditions affect vibration risk and control selection.
- Apply the control hierarchy to construction-specific procurement, task rotation and site management decisions.
