Silica Dust Advanced: Construction (Australia)

Tier 2

Operational Overview

This course assumes you have already completed Silica Dust Advanced: Exposure Management and Compliance. That course covered the exposure standard, the control hierarchy and health surveillance design. This one does not repeat any of it.

Here, you apply that framework specifically to construction, including the single most significant recent development in this area: the national ban on engineered stone, effective 1 July 2024. If your work touches benchtops, panels or slabs, this course covers exactly what that ban does and does not require.
