Industrial Mastery Pathway
HAVS Advanced: Construction (Australia)
Tier 2
Operational Overview
This course assumes you have already completed HAVS Advanced: Vibration Risk Management and Compliance. That course covered the assessment methodology, the control hierarchy and health surveillance design. This one does not repeat any of it.
Here, you apply that framework specifically to construction: the tools, the programme pressure, and the high-risk construction work provisions under the Model WHS Regulations that shape how a PCBU's duty actually plays out on an active site.

Instructional Objectives
- Apply the exposure assessment methodology to named construction tools and tasks.
- Reconcile the hand-arm vibration control hierarchy with construction programme pressure and multi-contractor site coordination.
- Maintain health surveillance continuity across a mobile, multi-employer construction workforce.
- Apply wearable exposure monitoring on an active construction site, and defend a construction-specific noise/vibration program against a WHS regulator inspection.
