Cutting, grinding and drilling on an Australian construction site puts more into the air than most people realise. Some of it you can see. Most of it you cannot.

Since September 2024, the Model WHS Regulations have placed stronger duties on anyone carrying out high-risk crystalline silica processing, whatever industry they work in. This course gives you the practical knowledge to work safely under those duties, not just tick a training box.

You will look at what is actually in construction dust and fume, why it matters to your lungs long after the shift ends, and what the law now requires from a risk control plan through to reporting an exceedance.
